The motivational theme for this month is The Colour Blue..
Members are encouraged
to send in up to four photographs on this theme, taken at any times
since the beginning of
2017, for inclusion in the slideshow to be shown after the break at the
the May club meeting. Please email your photographs to the usual club email address.
If at all possible resize your images so that they are 1024 pixels on their
longest edge, and try to make sure that they are received by midnight on Tuesday 9th May.
The slideshow of last month's motivational theme One Minute from Home has now been uploaded to the club's YouTube page, and can be viewed here.
Finally a reminder that the next club meeting will be Thursday 11th May from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in our usual meeting place of The Kabin,
Rossinver, Co Leitrim
(next to the football field). At this meeting we shall have a practical session looking at Aperture Control, and members are asked to bring their cameras with them on the night.
New members are always welcome.

Photoshoot - Benbulben Forest Walk - Sunday 23rd April 2017
The club's April photoshoot will take place on Sunday evening, 23rd April. The location will be the start of the Benbulben Forest Walk, which is signposted to the right off the main N15 road from Sligo to Letterkenny, a few miles north of Drumcliffe.
This location gives superb views of the north-western face of Benbulben, and the best time to take photographs should be shortly before sunset when hopefully the sun will cast light and shadow over the mountain. Sunset should be at 8:52pm - so members will be meeting at the Benbulben Forest Walk car park around 8:00pm.
In-car SatNav coordinates for the car park are:
You can also view the car park on Google Maps by clicking here.
